Energize the Opening of the Arts Street Accelerator

DENVER – Since 1995, Arts Street has been providing workshops, classes and internships to help at-risk youth channel their talents, ideas and natural curiosity into marketable skills. Arts Street has pulled out the creative contents of its bag of trick at schools, libraries, and most recently – a bus.

Now Arts Street has a space for youth to come and form a community around creativity and productivity.
Please join Arts Street in cutting the ribbon on the new facility at 1079 Osage, April 26 from 6-8 pm. Arts Street is on the ground floor of the Tapiz Building, next to the 10th and Osage Light Rail station and all its supporters – past, present and future are welcome.

Enjoy food and drink and live music by Austin Richason, an Arts Street alumni, who continued his love for music and released his first album this fall. Richason has an accounting degree and works as a financial analyst for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Department.

Think, too, about adding a leaf to the ceramic mosaic being made for the exterior, and bid on a one-of-a-kind Chocolate Painting, made on the spot by artist Bill Gian from very edible chocolate made by truffle-maker Phil Simonson of Chocolate Lab Denver.
