From June 1st-2nd, Arts Street Apprentices were chalking it up on the streets during the 11th annual Denver Chalk Art Festival on Larimer Square. What’s better than fulfilling the name Arts Street than literally putting art on the streets? Well, winning second place is!

Congrats Arts Street team!  And awesome design Dillon Bellerose!

More info on the event:

The Denver Chalk Art Festival on Larimer Square is a FREE two-day street-painting festival. More than 200 artists spend hours that weekend turning the streets of Larimer Square into a museum of chalk art. Artists, sponsors and spectators find it difficult to describe in words the splendid experience that Denver Chalk Art Festival creates.

That’s actually based off the wonderful singer’s face, Adele! Dylan is known to incorporate organic matter’s shapes and forms into those of human faces and bodies. For more of his work and the opportunity to obtain a print of this preliminary sketch, contact him at dylanbellerose@yahoo.com.
