Denver Housing Authority Ground Breaking April 10, 2012 at 10th and Navajo

The Arts Street Accelerator is made possible by the generosity of the Denver Housing Authority which so kindly granted the organization a permanent home in the Tapiz Building in South Lincoln Park.

The Accelerator’s interior and all the fixtures necessary for creating a quality educational experience is thanks to a HUD Community Development Block Grant through the Office of Economic Development, Business and Housing Services, City and County of Denver.

This are major gifts, especially because of their uniqueness in provided a permanent location for Arts Street programs, and are particularly important to the 15-year-old nonprofit. Thanks to both organization.

While Arts Street was opening its doors in the Tapiz Building between 10th and 11th on Osage, the Denver Housing Authority broke ground on two more buildings in block neighboring the Accelerator, on 10th near Navajo.
